 Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy was founded in 1916 on the basis of Yekaterinoslav Medical Courses and has been kept the adherence to the ideas of pro-viding the highest quality medical education, research and patient care ever since. It is One of the most distinguished medical educational institutions in the country. Tuition Is performed in national language - Ukrainian, and in Russian.

 For the period of its history, the Academy has graduated more than 42,000 physicians. Today the Medical Academy of Dnipropetrovsk is one of the leading educational institutions in the country and a centre for continuous training of medical Professionals starting from high school, undergraduate and graduate, and followed by postgraduate medical education.

 The Medical Academy of Dnipropetrovsk is nationally accredited medical school and its programs are also listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools published by WHO.

  The Academy publishes its own research journals "Medical Perspectives" and "Urology", regular annals and collections on every direction of science work. Academy teachers publish their works in periodic science editions in Ukraine.

 The Medical Academy is a member of international academic community, partner of University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (Rochester, NY, USA), University Claude-Bernard (Lyon, France) and King's College (London, UK), member of European Association for International Education.
